Thanks again for supporting National Songwriting Month 2013.
How did you do this year? Maybe you didn't write a song for every day and that's okay. The goal of this challenge is to bring songwriters together to share their music and celebrate their creativity.
Great job to ALL who participated! Thanks so much. See you next year!

This was a blast! It was my first time participating. Months ago, I searched for a songwriting month and found this. I correctly guessed the hashtag: #NaSoWriMo
ReplyDeleteHaving written many songs, I was confident and excited. But, I had never written so many songs in such a short span.
While I enjoyed listening to other songwriters' soundcloud postings, I posted my LYRICS ONLY to my songwriting blog site.
I will be back to see if any more songs are posted by those like me who just needed extra time. And who knows, maybe I'll get the courage to post my recordings (yes, I recorded my songs).
If you want to read my lyrics, they are easy enough to find on www.cherylcrockett.com.
HERE'S A THOUGHT: Wouldn't it be wonderful if we could have a weekly year-around challenge?
Thanks for taking part Poet-a-tete. It was really wonderful being exposed to the many different musical style and types this month. Hope next year you will share them with us!
ReplyDeleteYes! Each song I have written so far is in a different genre. And I am back today to write some more of my unfinished NaSoWriMo work.
ReplyDeleteDon't be surprised if I post a recording to the group before next May.
Thanks again for the challenges! I have grown as a result.
