NaSoWriMo -- Day 15 & Our First Featured Artist!

Hi everyone!

It's day 15 and we're almost over the halfway hill of National Songwriting Month 2013.  First, today's prompt, if you're looking for inspiration:

Write a song using an instrument you don't normally play.

That could shake things up and get us all out of our comfort zones.

Our first featured artist of the challenge is imnotdisco.  Each day he surprises and delights.  Some songs are full-on trance, some more like movie soundtracks, and others just pure electronic goodness.  Please click HERE to check out his songs and throw him some love!

Also, if you're using SoundCloud, make sure you're posting your NaSoWriMo songs to the NaSoWriMo SoundCloud group page -- click HERE for the group page!

We know we sound like a broken record (haha) but we are continually thankful to everyone who's writing and playing and listening and commenting along.  You all rock!

Peace,
Karen and RJ

  1. I am not a song writer but I really enjoy listening to all the work people are doing. I became interested when my son (imnotdisco) :) entered. I am amazed at the talent being posted everyday by your members. It is a great way for them to express themselves and let other people hear their music. Keep up the good work people..play on.

  3. I love listening to what imnotdisco comes up with every day. It never fails to be a great original piece of music. It has been really good listening to all the different peoples songs. What an excellent way to help refine your songwriting process and build those creative muscles. 1 original song from any of these people is worth more than a million covers on youtube.
